we finally made it . . .

to the blogosphere! But as you will notice our title includes the word "quarterly" which means that you will probably only see new additions to our site a few (or four) times a year. But it's better than nothing, right friends?

So, here are a few of our summer highlights (pictures included):
Amy turned 6 in May and Scott built her a playhouse in the backyard. A work of art indeed!
In June, Scott and I got to go to New York for a belated anniversary.
In July, we did our 5th annual camping trip with 5 other families (15 kids under the age of 9) at Priest Lake. A few weeks later, we stayed in a Yurt for the first time at Winchester Lake with our friends the Churchills (from our Boise years). We visited a wolf preserve and saw real live wolves -and one dead one. . . see picture.
The rest of our summer has been spent working on the house, swimming at our neighborhood pool, and playing with friends. Grandma and Grandpa Krueger and Ed and Linda rode their motorcycles over one weekend and we earned some street cred in the 'hood from our neighbors for having 'Biker" relatives.
August will fly by, I'm sure. I start back at WSU for my last semester of school on the 25th. Scott will be going up to BC for 2 weeks of art-making with a bunch of people from CIVA. The girls have one more month of fun, family, friends and freedom before school starts in Sept.
